Skull Base Surgery and Endoneurosurgery

Home Skull Base Surgery and Endoneurosurgery

Skull base surgery is a type of intervention used to treat tumors, cysts and in some cases repair traumatic defects or congenital anomalies located at the base of the skull.

Endoscopic brain surgery,  or endoneurosurgery, is a minimally invasive surgical technique performed through small incisions or through anatomical cavities, such as the nose, with the assistance of implements such as the endoscope, microscope and specifically designed instruments to work in tight spaces, with the least possible brain manipulation.
